Rubik’s cube mosaic depiction of Bhangra celebrating the festival of Baisakhi.
Baisakhi, celebrated on April 13 or 14, is both a vibrant harvest festival in Punjab and a deeply significant day in Sikh history. For farmers, it marks the joyous time when crops are ready to reap—fields sway with golden wheat, and hearts overflow with gratitude. Songs, bhangra, and colorful celebrations fill villages and cities alike.
But Baisakhi is also remembered as the day in 1699 when Guru Gobind Singh Ji founded the Khalsa Panth, a brotherhood of saint-soldiers committed to truth, equality, and justice. This moment transformed Sikh identity forever—blending devotion with valor. So, Baisakhi isn’t just about crops or rituals—it’s a reminder to stand tall, celebrate life, and stay rooted in purpose.
