Deepinder Goyal is the co-founder and CEO of Zomato, one of India’s largest food delivery and restaurant discovery platforms. A graduate of IIT Delhi, he started Zomato in 2008 as “Foodiebay”, initially focusing on restaurant menus and reviews before expanding into food delivery and cloud kitchens. Under his leadership, Zomato became a publicly listed company in 2021, marking a significant milestone in India’s startup ecosystem.

He once personally handled customer complaints in Zomato’s early days to improve user experience. His vision transformed Zomato from a small startup into a global food-tech giant, operating in multiple countries.
