Ratan Naval Tata, one of India’s most influential industrialists, was born on December 28, 1937. He served as the chairman of the Tata Group, one of India’s oldest and most respected conglomerates, from 1990 to 2012. Under his leadership, Tata Group expanded its global reach, acquiring companies like Corus, Jaguar Land Rover, and Tetley Tea, transforming it into a multinational powerhouse. He spearheaded the launch of the Tata Nano in 2008, the world’s cheapest car, which was a groundbreaking project aimed at making car ownership affordable for middle-class families in India.
