At the Blooming Dales Summer Workshop, children created a vibrant Sticky Pixels mural honoring Colonel Sophia Qureshi, a trailblazing officer in the Indian Army. She holds the distinction of being the first woman to lead an Indian Army contingent on a United Nations peacekeeping mission and played a significant role in Operation Sindoor, a critical mission that highlighted her leadership and strategic acumen. Though the children were initially unfamiliar with her, learning about her accomplishments turned the mural into a powerful storytelling tool—introducing young minds to real-life heroes who have shaped history through courage and service.
