Anandiben Patel is a seasoned Indian politician and the current Governor of Uttar Pradesh since 2019. She has previously served as the Governor of Madhya Pradesh and was also the first female Chief Minister of Gujarat (2014–2016). Known for her strong leadership, she played a key role in education reforms, women empowerment initiatives, and rural development during her tenure in Gujarat.
She was a national-level athlete in her youth and even received the Best Teacher Award from the Gujarat government for her contributions to education before entering politics. Her ability to balance administration and social reforms has made her one of the most respected women leaders in India.
