Rubik’s cube mural of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, fondly known as the “Missile Man of India,” was a visionary scientist, an inspiring teacher, and the 11th President of India (2002-2007). His contributions to India’s space and missile programs, including Agni, Prithvi, and Pokhran-II nuclear tests, made India a global power in defense and technology. Despite his achievements, he remained humble, dedicating his life to education, innovation, and inspiring young minds.
He never owned a house, car, or any personal wealth, living a simple life focused solely on service to the nation. Even in his final moments, he was doing what he loved most—teaching students at IIM Shillong, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge, dreams, and patriotism.
