Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is one of the most important and widely celebrated festivals in India and among Indian communities worldwide. The festival commemorates the return of Lord Rama to his kingdom after 14 years of exile, during which he defeated the demon king Ravana, symbolizing the victory of righteousness.

It’s also a time for families to gather, exchange gifts, and celebrate with sweets, fireworks, and special prayers. The festival also carries a deep spiritual significance, as people seek the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi for wealth and prosperity in the coming year.
