Puzzle cube mosaic made on First Day of Sharad Navratri
The first day of Sharad Navratri marks the beginning of the nine-day festival dedicated to Goddess Durga and her nine divine forms. Celebrated in September or October, this auspicious day is dedicated to Maa Shailputri, the first form of Durga, symbolizing purity, strength, and devotion. Devotees observe fasts, perform rituals, and decorate their homes and temples to invoke the blessings of the Goddess for prosperity and protection.
Sharad Navratri is deep spiritual significance, as it is believed that during these nine days, the divine feminine energy (Shakti) is at its peak. In various parts of India, it is celebrated uniquely—while Garba and Dandiya Raas dominate Gujarat, Durga Puja takes center stage in West Bengal, making it a festival that unites people through devotion and cultural vibrancy.
