Good Friday is a Christian holiday that commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for humanity. It is observed on the Friday before Easter Sunday and is a solemn day of mourning and reflection.

Despite its sorrowful nature, Good Friday is considered “good” because it led to Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday, symbolizing hope, redemption, and victory over sin.
