Puzzle cube mural made on Guru Tegh Bahadur’s Martyrdom Day
Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, stands as an immortal symbol of courage, sacrifice, and unwavering faith. At a time when religious oppression was at its peak, he chose death over silence, standing against Mughal tyranny to protect the religious freedom of Kashmiri Pandits and people of all faiths. On November 24, 1675, he was executed in Delhi under Aurangzeb’s orders, refusing to renounce his beliefs. His martyrdom was not just for Sikhs but for humanity’s right to worship freely.
His sacrifice teaches us that true bravery is not just about fighting battles, but standing for what is right, even in the face of death. Today, as we remember Hind Di Chadar (Protector of Hindustan), let’s reflect on his legacy—to stand for justice, to protect the weak, and to never bow before oppression. His story is a reminder that principles are worth more than life itself, and those who stand for truth live forever.
