Students from slum payed tribute to Ramdhari Singh Dinkar on Hindi Diwas
Hindi Diwas, celebrated every year on September 14, marks the day when Hindi was adopted as the official language of India in 1949. The day honors the richness, beauty, and cultural depth of the Hindi language and encourages people to take pride in using it. It’s a celebration of India’s linguistic unity and heritage.
Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, one of India’s greatest Hindi poets, played a key role in popularizing Hindi literature. Known as the Rashtrakavi (National Poet), his powerful writings inspired patriotism, courage, and social reform. His works, like Rashmirathi and Parshuram Ki Pratiksha, reflect the spirit of nationalism and the strength of Hindi as a language of expression and pride.
