Holi, the Festival of Colors, is one of India’s most joyful and vibrant celebrations, symbolizing the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. It begins with Holika Dahan, where bonfires are lit to signify the burning away of negativity, inspired by the legend of Prahlada and Holika. The next day, known as Rangwali Holi, people play with colors, drench each other in water, dance to festive music, and enjoy sweets like gujiya and thandai.

Holi has ability to dissolve social barriers, bringing together people of all backgrounds in a colorful, joyous celebration. Unlike most Indian festivals that are ritual-heavy, Holi is all about uninhibited fun, laughter, and togetherness.
