Rubik’s cube mosaic portrait of Kabir Das on Kabir Jayanti
On the occasion of Kabir Jayanti, a Rubik’s Cube mosaic of Kabir Das was created to honour the 15th-century poet-saint who spoke boldly against social injustice, blind rituals, and caste divisions. His verses, simple yet profound, continue to guide generations towards truth, humility, and unity.
Kabir Das was never formally educated, yet his dohas (couplets) are studied in schools across India today. Even more fascinating—both Hindus and Muslims claim him as their own, and his memorial in Maghar stands next to both a samadhi (Hindu shrine) and a mazaar (Muslim tomb), symbolising true secular harmony.
