Captain Vikram Batra was a fearless Indian Army officer who became a Kargil War hero in 1999. Known for his bravery in recapturing Point 5140 and Point 4875, he famously said, “Yeh Dil Maange More!”, symbolizing his unwavering courage. His ultimate sacrifice while rescuing a fellow soldier earned him the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest wartime gallantry award.

His twin brother, Vishal Batra, feels his presence even today. His legacy continues to inspire the youth, and his story of valor, patriotism, and selflessness remains etched in India’s history. “Either I will come back after hoisting the Tricolor, or I will come back wrapped in it, but I will return for sure.”
