India’s space agency, ISRO, successfully launched Aditya L1, the nation’s first solar mission, marking a significant milestone in space exploration. Named after the Sun god “Aditya” in Sanskrit, this mission aims to study the Sun’s outermost layer, the corona, and understand solar dynamics that impact space weather.

Launched from Sriharikota, Aditya L1 will help scientists analyze solar radiation, solar wind, and their effects on Earth’s climate and satellite operations.
