Puzzle cube mosaic made on Maha Navami

Maha Navami is the ninth day of the Navratri festival, celebrated with great fervor in India. It typically falls on the ninth day of the bright fortnight of Ashvin (usually in September or October). This day marks the culmination of the nine-day festival, dedicated to worshipping the divine feminine energy (Shakti). On Maha Navami, Durga is worshipped in her form as Mahishasuramardini, the slayer of the demon Mahishasura, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.

Maha Navami is the sacrifice of weapons in several parts of India, particularly in West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. People clean and worship their tools, vehicles, and weapons, as it is believed that the day is auspicious for new beginnings and success in upcoming endeavors. In some regions, Ayudha Puja is also performed, where all instruments used for work or study are decorated and revered, emphasizing the importance of work and knowledge in one’s life.
