Puzzle cube mural of Lord Shiva
Maha Shivratri is a sacred Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Shiva, celebrated with great devotion across India. It falls on the 14th night of the lunar month of Phalguna and symbolizes the cosmic dance of Shiva (Tandav), his divine marriage with Goddess Parvati, and spiritual awakening. Devotees observe fasts, chant mantras, perform Rudrabhishek (offering milk, honey, and water to Shiva Lingam), and stay awake all night in meditation and prayers.
Maha Shivratri is the night when Lord Shiva became the Adi Yogi (first yogi) and shared the knowledge of yoga and spirituality with the world. It is considered an auspicious time for self-reflection, overcoming darkness, and seeking blessings for inner transformation and liberation (moksha).
