Puzzle cube mural of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati
Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati (1824–1883) was a Hindu philosopher, social reformer, and the founder of the Arya Samaj. He advocated for a return to Vedic teachings, opposed idol worship, and fought against social evils like caste discrimination, child marriage, and oppression of women. His book, Satyarth Prakash, emphasized truth, knowledge, and righteousness.
He was the first to give the call for “Swaraj” (self-rule) in India, which later inspired leaders like Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Mahatma Gandhi. His teachings continue to shape modern Hindu society, education, and reform movements, making him a timeless symbol of wisdom and progress.
