At the special Mother’s Day outreach event “Ma to Ma Hoti Hai” held at Sheroes Café, one of the most powerful murals created by IFC’s children was a tribute to Deepika Padukone. The mural honored her not only as a new mother but also for her iconic portrayal of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal in the film Chhapaak. Created by young hands trained under PixelsForCharity, this piece held deep emotional resonance—especially within the walls of Sheroes, a café run by acid attack survivors. The mural celebrated resilience, compassion, and the strength of womanhood, capturing how Deepika’s journey as an actress and mother beautifully mirrors the courage and spirit of the very women the café supports.
