Puzzle cube mural of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad
Education is not just about learning; it’s about empowerment, freedom, and progress. National Education Day, observed on November 11, marks the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister and a visionary who believed that education is the foundation of a strong nation. His efforts led to the establishment of IITs, UGC, and institutions that shaped modern India, ensuring that knowledge became a right, not a privilege.
Azad firmly believed that “Education imparted by heart can bring revolution in society.” He championed free and compulsory education, especially for children and women, at a time when literacy was a distant dream for many. Today, as we celebrate National Education Day, it’s not just about remembering him—it’s about embracing his vision, ensuring that every child, regardless of background, has access to quality education. Because in the end, a nation rises when its people are educated.
