National Flag Day – Annie Besant and Our Flag

National Flag Day is an opportunity to teach children about the importance of our national flag and the journey of India’s freedom movement. Annie Besant played an important role in India’s struggle for self-rule and was associated with an early flag design, helping children understand how symbols can represent our hopes, unity and love for the nation.
