Maharana Pratap was a brave Rajput warrior and the ruler of Mewar. He is known for his resistance against the Mughal emperor Akbar and his dedication to protecting his kingdom’s independence.
Born on May 9, 1540, in Kumbhalgarh, he became famous for the Battle of Haldighati in 1576, where he fought with great courage despite being outnumbered. His loyal horse, Chetak, is also remembered for his bravery in the battle. Maharana Pratap continued to fight for his land and never accepted Mughal rule. He spent years in hardship but eventually regained much of his lost territory. His life remains an inspiration for bravery, patriotism, and perseverance.
