Rubik’s cube mosaic of Rani Karnavati created on Raksha Bandhan.
Raksha Bandhan is a festival that celebrates the sacred bond of love, trust, and protection between brothers and sisters. On this day, sisters tie a rakhi around their brothers’ wrists, praying for their well-being, while brothers promise to protect and support them. The festival symbolizes unity, care, and mutual respect within families.
Rani Karnavati of Mewar is famously associated with the legend of Raksha Bandhan. During a time of great threat, she sent a rakhi to Mughal Emperor Humayun, seeking his protection against invasion. Touched by her gesture, Humayun immediately set out to defend her, showcasing how Raksha Bandhan extends beyond blood relations to uphold honor, trust, and compassion.
