Puzzle cube mural of Indian flag
The Indian National Flag, popularly known as the Tiranga, is a powerful emblem of freedom, unity, and national pride. It consists of three horizontal stripes: saffron at the top, symbolizing courage and sacrifice, white in the middle, representing peace and truth, and green at the bottom, signifying prosperity and growth. At the center of the white band lies the Ashoka Chakra, a 24-spoke navy blue wheel, representing dharma (righteousness), progress, and eternal movement.
Adopted on July 22, 1947, just before India gained independence, the Tiranga continues to inspire patriotism and national unity. Whether hoisted high on Republic Day and Independence Day, carried by athletes in international events, or proudly waved by citizens, the Indian flag stands as a beacon of democracy, diversity, and resilience. Every fold of the flag tells the story of India’s rich history, struggles, and triumphs, reminding every Indian of their duty to uphold the values of the nation.
