A puzzle cube mosaic of the Indian Flag was created, symbolizing unity, pride, and patriotism
This mural was created to celebrate Republic Day, commemorating the day the Constitution of India came into effect in 1950, making India a sovereign republic. The Indian flag, symbolizing unity in diversity, was chosen as the subject to honor national pride and the democratic spirit of the country.
The original Indian national flag adopted in 1947 had a spinning wheel (charkha) at its center, which was later replaced by the Ashoka Chakra to symbolize progress and law. Many children involved in the mural didn’t know this detail about the evolution of the flag’s design.
