The Sciencekriti Trust
Sciencekriti is my brainchild and my little baby. It’s a vision I’ve day-dreamt of since I was a child. To put it briefly, Sciencekriti is a playground of science for 8-year-olds, 13-year-olds and 17-year-olds.
Formed as a Trust (NGO) in December of 2026, one of the aims of my organisation is to spread scientific temperament with an appreciation of culture (sanskriti) both of which seem to be dwindling at an accelerated pace. With this in mind, my aim is to develop physical and mental spaces for new-age learning, healthy exchange of ideas and a love of art and culture.
The task may seem daunting at first but is very much doable. All it needs is concerted efforts from all – individuals, the government and private sector. And that’s all I request for. Let’s all join to make Sciencekriti a runway success.
Objectives of Sciencekriti
Sciencekriti was created with four primary objectives in mind. We will promote, encourage and foster both IQ and EQ skills, including (though not limited to):
- Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM)
- Art & Culture
- Responsible Nationalism
- Gender Equality
It is our utmost duty as responsible Indians to ensure the new generation, the future of our country, is educated in cognitive skills with an empathy towards the local culture. The minds of children should be imbued with logical reasoning and analytical thinking. We need to build a love for inventiveness by providing opportunity and praise incessant inquiry. Only then can we hope to be competitive in the global scenario.
