The mouse is a small, highly adaptable mammal found in diverse environments, from forests to urban areas. Mice are known for their remarkable ability to thrive in almost any setting, often coexisting alongside humans in homes, fields, and farms. They belong to the family Muridae and have a keen sense of smell, touch, and hearing, making them excellent foragers and survivors.

Mice are capable of echolocation—a trait usually associated with bats. Mice use high-frequency sounds to navigate in dark environments and to detect objects around them, even though they are often too small to be seen. Additionally, mice are incredibly social animals that communicate with each other using ultrasonic sounds, which humans cannot hear. Their adaptability and intelligence make them some of the most successful mammals on Earth.
