Puzzle cube mosaic of Ananya
As part of an artistic and cultural initiative, students embarked on a trip to Uttarakhand, creating stunning cube murals that celebrated the region’s rich heritage. Their artwork depicted portraits of Uttarakhand’s women, a striking Aghori mural, a breathtaking Kedarnath Temple tribute, and a cozy chai-in-the-mountains scene, capturing the essence of mountain life. The initiative, already a success, became even more special when a local resident requested a custom mural, making it a truly memorable moment for everyone involved.
One of the highlights was the personalized mural of a child, Anaya, requested by a visitor. The students collaborated with their art programmer, Usha, who quickly generated a digital design as a reference. With precision and teamwork, they twisted and aligned 225 cubes in a 15×15 grid, forming the portrait in real time. The live creation left the audience in awe, blending technology with traditional artistry. This initiative not only showcased the students’ talent but also deepened their connection with Uttarakhand’s culture, leaving a lasting impression on both residents and visitors.
