World AIDS Day, observed annually on December 1st, is a global initiative to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, show support for those affected, and remember those who have lost their lives to the disease. Since its inception in 1988, it has played a crucial role in breaking stigma, promoting education, and encouraging testing and treatment.
