The date was chosen because the calendar emoji on Apple devices displays July 17, marking the day as official.
Emojis have become a universal language, with over 3,600 emojis available today. In 2015, the “Face with Tears of Joy” emoji was even named Oxford Dictionary’s Word of the Year, proving how deeply emojis have influenced modern communication.
